Caller ID with Name with Call Waiting


Caller ID with Name displays the name and number of the calling party in the display of the Caller ID even if you are on a call.
The Caller ID unit is sold separately and stores the names, phone numbers, time and date of call of recent callers. The information is stored even if the call is not answered or the caller does not leave a message.
Before the second ring, the Caller ID unit will display one of the following:

  • Name and Number
  • Out of area. When the calling party is located in an area that does not support caller ID.
  • Private, Blocked or Anonymous if the caller is blocking Caller ID (You can dial *67 before the number to block your name and number from displaying when you place a call)
  • Error is shown when your Caller ID unit receives incorrect information.

To block Caller ID when making a call (only for the call)

  1. Get a dial tone.
  2. Press *67
  3. Tones, followed by a dial tone, let you know that your blocking is activated.
  4. Dial the desired telephone number
  5. Your name and number will not be displayed in the Caller ID display of the called party

Caller ID may not be available in all areas.
